Full Crow Moon Dream Board

When I pulled images for last month’s dream board, I noticed how many crows had made their way into my collage stash. So instead using the Full Worm Moon, which seems to be the most common name for this moon (and the one I used last year), I decided to work with the alternative Full Crow Moon. Relying on this book for insight, I asked myself the question “Where and how is the secret magic of creation calling you?” Answers and insights came in a variety of ways: on the acupuncture table, through nighttime dreams, during long walks on the beach and at this retreat, which allowed me the opportunity for some of the deepest inner work I’ve ever experienced. A new friend I met at the retreat sent me the following quotation from Mary Oliver that captures all this and more.

Of course! the path to heaven
doesn’t lie down in flat miles.
It’s in the imagination
with which you perceive
this world,
and the gestures
with which you honor it.
-from The Swan
There was also a poem by Mark Nepo that rocked my world recently, but you’ll have to wait until Sunday Selections for that one. Hoping there is a bold springtime awakening in your world as well. xoS
