Full Sturgeon Moon

The Full Sturgeon Moon rose last week and asked, “What does your intuition say about your dreams?” I loved this question and also loved that fact that I was in the West during the brightest light of this lunar cycle. I alway pack a small art kit when I travel, and I was looking forward to seeing what I would create during our big trip. The images in these two dream boards are evocative and energizing (and shamelessly put together with all the free tourist publications available), but what is really exciting is that a whole new form of journaling seems to have emerged while creating them. I think I have blended my regular art journal (where all my previous dream boards live), my little bits of words journal and also a journal I have not shared yet that uses manila folders for the pages. Add some paint and I can’t wait to see where this all goes.

This summer has been busy with travel (funny, that was one of my intentions for the vision cards I made way back in January) and I have one more trip before settling into a leisurely fall. I leave for my next intensive in my spiritual direction certification program in a couple of weeks, and you can expect to hear more about that soon. I’m slowly (glacially) beginning to put words around what I’m hoping to do with these seemingly random bits that comprise this path I find myself walking. As this poem says so beautifully and succinctly, the road is made by walking. Trust your intuition. It will not lead you astray. xoS
