  1. Here’s my poem inspired by your photos and words, Sheila! (And a suggestion Quimby made at Taproot on Sunday morning about making poems!) HUGS!

    Breakfast circles,
    Colorful Love.

    • I am adding on to Jean’s (Hi Jean – I made it home!)
      Wine and cheese and circles
      Psychedelic Laughter:)

Lover you guys…I am basking in the glow of our time together:)

  2. I am honestly too close to tears for words, so I will just paste some in here from Beth: “Rich, beautiful, heartbreaking and cracking open stuff comes up when we get to be in community with those validate who we are… YES!”

. . . those who validate who I am . . . that is who you are to me.

love, kisses and lots and lots of laughs to all of you. today and always.

  3. Glowing. Giddy. Exhausted. That was John’s observation of my condition when I arrived home yesterday.

I’m still humming one of my favorite songs from the show “Wicked,” (the story that explores friendship and the different meanings of the words good and wicked.)

In “For Good”, sung by Elphaba and Glinda, here’s what seems especially relevant:

    “I’ve heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
    Bringing something we must learn
    And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
    If we let them
And we help them in return
    Well, I don’t know if I believe that’s true
But I know I’m who I am today
    Because I knew you…

Like a comet pulled from orbit
    As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
    Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better?
    But because I knew you
I have been changed for good.”

Yes, I think that captures it! Because I knew all of you, I have been changed for good (forever.)
