Today is Lady Day

Lady4

While studying Botany with the boys last week, I came upon a curious fact. Today, March 25 is Lady Day. Up until 1752 in England, Lady Day was used to mark the beginning of the new year. Andrea and I took this as an auspicious sign to launch our new venture today:

Letters from Ladytown

It’s a collaborative blog dedicated to women’s inner work. Come on over and check it out. I’ll be back with more details on Wednesday.

  1. How Exciting!!! I have just read About the Ladies. And, oh, I can’t wait to read the posts.

what a wonderful idea filled with so many voices.

    Congratulations ladies xo

    • Of course you are the first person I hear from! I have been nervous all morning!

Yes, let me know what you think. And I hope you will be adding your voice to Ladytown.

  2. There really isn’t a way that I can adequately express how grateful I am for a space like the one you all have started in Letters from Ladytown. I can only say that reading through your thoughts on how and why you started it as well as your letters to one another resonated with me very deeply. Thank you.

    • Hey Emmie,
Your words mean a lot. Your comments are always so full of goodness, but this one is extra special. All day yesterday I had waves of doubt that this was a crazy idea and no one was going to “get” it. Thank you for taking the time to write about your reaction.
      Love to you.
      Sheila

  3. I agree with Emmie and everyone else. This is so lovely! A collaborative blog dedicated to women’s inner work! What a wonderful, unique idea. The letters are rich with inspiration, hope and soul nourishment!
    Thank you.
