Habit: Reflective Friday

Inspiration for today taken from habit.

A picture, a few words, a little mystery, that somehow form a visual journal of my previous week.

Have a great weekend, friends.

Heirloom beans in a vintage box delivered by an old farmer – better than diamonds any day.

I told him I consider the milk a gift, that it’s the stories I pay for. He laughed and reckoned I was being cheated.

We all keep saying the same thing, but I don’t know how much more he can handle.

Becoming garlic farmers when we retire sounds a lot better than his usual idea: Boca.

***

I picked over 3 pounds of blackberries, and sang all the while. It’s one way I know to pray.

First day of tractor driving lessons? Flawless.

  1. Someone once said, “These days will never come again.” It warms my heart to see you treasure each moment of each new day.

    • I think you gave me a card with that quotation when Vincent was born. No – for better or worse – they will never come again.
      PS. Wednesday was fun!

    • Not bad for an iPhone?!xx I have been contemplating getting a new camera, but I might just be too cheap and too lazy. I have been in love with the original habit site for over a year. It really makes me record those moments that can just come and go during the week. Glad you like them.

      • an iphone? holy cow, that’s great quality. technology has its benefits — interestingly, the thing i love about your pictures taken with a high tech phone and put on your personal blog is that they always make me feel liek that “take time life” of yesteryear. irony.
